1. Will the sheet turn yellow or become brittle outdoors?
Our PVC sheet is treated with UV stabilizers to significantly resist yellowing and degradation from sunlight exposure. While no plastic is entirely immune to prolonged, direct UV radiation, our formulation ensures long-term clarity and durability for typical outdoor applications like greenhouse windows or shed panels. It will maintain its flexibility and not become brittle under normal weather conditions.
2. What is the best way to cut and shape this material?
This material is very user-friendly. For straight cuts, you can use a sharp utility knife, plastic cutter, or a pair of heavy-duty scissors. Simply score along a straight edge and snap it. For more complex shapes, a jigsaw or bandsaw with a fine-tooth blade works excellently. You can also drill holes using standard wood or metal drill bits. For bending, apply heat carefully with a heat gun until pliable, form it into the desired shape, and allow it to cool.
